Charlie has been turning wood for more than 40 years. He retired from teaching woodworking at Keene State College. Charlie is still involved in teaching woodturning, offering weekend classes and demonstrating at woodturning events.
Woodturning provides Charlie a creative outlet and vehicle for self expression. Charlie considers his job to uncover the natural beauty of wood that lies below the bark, exposing it through thoughtful design, technical execution, and application of a finish that enhances the grain, texture and overall final appearance.
Charlie is a member of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers and is president of the Monadnock Woodturners in Keene, NH.
