My process begins when something catches my attention and I feel a connection and an immediate response. It could be a particular tree or group of trees, a sky, or an object. Parts of the photo become a drawing, and colors are chosen. Then, layer by layer, the colors and shapes are printed onto paper through a screen. Its a fluid process; I adjust and change my mind often until finally I have a print that reminds me of that first moment.
