| I began my weaving journey 40 years ago by taking classes at the Rhode Island School of Design. After this two year introduction I continued with both self-teaching and workshops. I juried into the League in 1994. A move to western MA interrupted my membership and I am thrilled to be back in NH and back in the League! I weave scarves and shawls using fine silk, merino wool, alpaca, and wool from Harrisville Designs where I am their Weaving Specialist. I also weave home goods such as table runners and hand towels using cotton and cottolin. My fascination with weave structures has continued over the last 4 decades as there is always something new to try on the fiber horizon. |
