I am often torn as to which is more important; the rich textures or the gorgeous gems, as both play an important role in how and what I create. I am a believer in learning by doing, I am not formally trained. I broke many rules as I developed my artist voice, it’s how my vision of body adornments emerged, with the goal of making people feel beautiful inside and out. I can be heard telling patrons that each piece of my hand-fabricated jewelry has captured a moment of my life in metal and stone.
