My work is the symbiotic relationship between the natural world, beauty and the human inventiveness. Prior to 2020 I spent the better part of my time traveling for my teaching work, doing research into traditional indigenous healing and creative methods, visiting the wild and not wild places across this country, Canada and internationally. I have an adventurous, inquisitive nature and love to learn about all things and people. My formal art education is in painting and sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute. I grew up along the shore line of Connecticut and have been graced with having lived/created in many beautiful inspired places. My current studio is in Littleton New Hampshire.
