Thanks to a great art program and wonderful instructers at a community college in Connecticut I was able to get inspired to learn of my creative abilities. At Manchester Community College in Manchester CT, I started taking studio classes in sculpture, ceramics, drawing, painting and design and learned I was drawn to 3d artwork. After 3 years I left there and was accepted to Rhode Island School of Design in Providence RI. There I was a sculpture major and always made jewelry as well. I left there and moved to New Hampshire because years earlier I had visited the Craftsmans Fair and was impressed with the work at the Fair. Now after 20 years at the Fair I have had success in the world of craft.
