A native Vermonter, Rebecca returned to Vermont in 2009 after twelve years living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Upon returning to Vermont, Rebecca recreated her studio in a converted dairy barn in Chester, VT, and now finds her creativity nurtured by that tranquil setting. Her pieces are primarily created from different thicknesses of wire in sterling silver, 14k gold, and 14k gold fill. Each piece is carefully and ethically handmade by the artist with great attention to detail. Her work is minimalist in sensibility and draws its strength and definition from its balance, delicacy, and graceful investigation of positive and negative space. Her work can be found in many galleries and boutiques across the country, as well as various international locations.
