I have been working with leather and beads for fifty years. My obsession with Native American beadwork began with a fully beaded cradleboard for my nephew forty seven years ago.
At that time I was making fur coats with beadwork, beaded dresses and shirts and a few backpacks.
My training consisted of many hours in American Indian Museum in New York City on Upper West Side.
In the last twenty years I have focused mostly on beaded bags and hats. I spend a lot of time in Guatemala where I developed a passion for making embroidered shirts.
I currently sell my work at the Norwich Farmer’s Market in the summer months
