I learned to knit, sew, and embroider from my Nana at a young age and have been involved creatively with fiber ever since. Pursuing an education in Textile Design, I graduated with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. After moving to NH to raise my family, I became a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen.
My current work reflects an exploration of color in dyeing, spinning, and knitting. The fiber I use is sourced from local farms. In addition to my fiber work, my interests include herbalism and yoga. Spinning yarn for me is not only a way to produce something beautiful, but it is also a practice of being mindful.
