Media: Metal Jewelry

I made my first piece of jewelry in a sixth grade class. I continued playing with jewelry through high school, helping my mum make jewelry for her shop. After high school, a partnership introduced me to the business of making jewelry for a living. I continued to take workshops and classes to hone my skills. My favorite tool is my jewelers saw, which enables me to draw linear designs in silver, gold, often enhanced with semiprecious stones. My jewelers bench always has wayward stones sitting, waiting for inspiration as I work. I love the process, from some spark of an idea, from a piece of dull silver, to a finished piece; always immensely satisfying.
