I have been involved in various artistic endeavors all of my life, from drawing, painting, sewing clothes and crafts. Quilting came to the forefront in the 70’s when I got married, and yes I finished my wedding quilt…for my 24th anniversary! I consider myself a Traditional quilter Run Amok! Having run through most standard blocks, layouts, appliqué etc, I ventured into designing my own patterns and publishing in magazines. Art quilting became my focus in the 80’s when I was accepted into the League of NH Craftsmen. Since then I’ve taught my designs and techniques nationally and internationally. Mostly centered on inspiration from nature, like ‘Sumac Sparks’ here, my work also includes color studies, and abstract interpretations with embellishments of fibers, beads, embroidery and textural methods
