Handwork 2026 is a year-long collaboration among organizations, educators, and makers to celebrate the diversity of the crafts that define America, bringing compelling stories and underrepresented art and artists into the spotlight. The League is proud to count itself amongst more than 250 organizations and institutions across the country that have signed on to be a part of this amazing program coordinated by Craft in America.
We invite our community to investigate the work of Handwork participants across the United States during the country’s semiquincentennial year. The League will be sharing our work on this platform and we look forward to exciting opportunities to forge new partnerships as we celebrate the role of craft in the history of our nation.
