Annual Fair Volunteer Application

August 1st – 9th, 2026 at Mount Sunapee Resort, in Newbury, NH

For volunteering at the Fair you will receive FREE ADMISSION the day you volunteer, plus one GUEST DAY PASS* (for your use another day or to give to a friend).

Specific shifts vary by volunteer role, see the times below. You are always welcome to stay longer than your assigned shift if you wish.
We cannot guarantee that requested volunteer shifts/roles will be available. We will work with all volunteers to create a schedule to meet the staffing needs of the Fair.

*Limit 1 per volunteer, a single guest pass will be emailed to you at the end of your first shift. Additional shifts are greatly appreciated but no additional guest passes are provided.

If you are a NH Potter’s Guild Volunteer, please DO NOT use this form.
Coordinate directly with the Guild for your clay tent shifts. Thank you!


Volunteer Roles:

General Volunteer:  Put me anywhere, I’m flexible!

    • FLOAT ALL-DAY: 10:30am – 4:30pm (6 hours) *Greatest need!*
    • FLOAT AM: 10:00am – 2:00pm (4 hours)
    • FLOAT PM: 12:00pm – 4:00pm (4 hours)

Gate Greeter: Greet visitors, scan tickets, hand out programs *can sit down, close to restrooms*

    • GATE: 9:30am – 1:30pm  *3pm on opening weekend  (4 hours)

Activity/Demo Helpers:  Assist with Kid’s Create Tent, Pottery Tent or Demonstrations

    • DEMO: 10:30am – 4:30pm (6 hours)

Craftsmen Tent Volunteer: Assist craftspeople: sit for breaks, pick up water or coffee, etc.

    • TENT: 12:00pm – 4:00pm (4 hours)

Information/Raffle Tent Volunteer: Assist visitors with directions, check-in volunteers, promote raffle ticket sales, staff & supervise info/raffle tent *can sit down, close to restrooms*

    • INFO: 11:00am – 4:00pm (5 hours)

  2. Select your preferred role and shift time. If you select more than one option, you will be assigned as needed.

Terms and Conditions:
1. I want to volunteer my services to the League of NH Craftsmen, INC. (League), a non-profit organization, organized and existing under the laws of the State of New Hampshire, to be a part of the League of NH Craftsmen’s Annual Fair from August 1st, 2026, to August 9th, 2026, at Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, New Hampshire.
2. As a volunteer for the League, I will act in good faith at all times, and within the scope of official functions and duties with the League.
3. I will not be willful, wanton, or grossly negligent, or engage in any misconduct as a volunteer for the League.
4. I must act in accordance with N.H. R.S.A. 508:17 in order to be immune from any civil liability. View N.H. R.S.A. 508:17.
5. I will be performing volunteer services for League and will not receive compensation or benefits from the League, including but not limited to worker’s compensation and unemployment compensation coverage, other than reimbursement for expenses actually incurred.
