Earth Day 2024
A special exhibition featuring the natural world
Presented by
The Massabesic Center in Auburn, NH and The League of NH Craftsmen

Each year, the Massabesic Center, a part of NH Audubon, holds a day-long, family-friendly Earth Day celebration. As a part of that celebration, the Center is partnering with the League of NH Craftsmen to feature original work from League members in a special exhibition within their space.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect your nature-themed work with an environmentally conscious crowd during the spring season. Submitted work should showcase nature’s beauty – be it flora or fauna – in your signature style.
All media categories are welcome. However, submissions must be delivered ready to hang from a rail system and cannot exceed 30lbs. No floor or pedestal pieces are allowed. Delivery and installation dates are April 3rd and 4th from noon to 3PM. The show will run from April 5 through May 31.
The center’s Earth Day celebrations will be held on April 20th from 10 AM – 3 PM. Special signage will be posted both inside and outside the Center to draw attention to the installation, and publicity will be shared by NH Audubon and the League. The League will hold a reception there on Sunday, April 21st from 2-4 PM.
About Massabesic:
The Massabesic Center is located on a historic farm site in Auburn, NH, just minutes from downtown Manchester and is bordered by 130 acres of rolling fields and mature deciduous forest with woodland wetlands, a pond, streams, and marshes. The site has been preserved as a wildlife sanctuary that encompasses a diverse array of upland habitats. There are more than five miles of trails that lead to scenic Lake Massabesic, and the property is adjacent to thousands of undeveloped acres of Manchester Water Works land.
