Event Description:
Meredith, NH – Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm for a Silver Rings with Faceted Stones Class with juried artist Joy Raskin.
Ready to set sparkly faceted gemstones into rings? In this one day workshop, students will take round faceted stones, solder on silver tube bezels to silver rings, and then set the stones. For oval shapes and other odd shaped faceted stones, we will make a step bezel from silver, solder the bezel to ring and set stones.
Students can make single stone rings or multiple stones rings. Students may bring gemstones or silver they have to use, but all materials will be provided. Estimated materials cost of silver and gemstones is $20 to $65.
Tuition is $75.00 per student. Materials fee is between $20-$65 depending on the stones and amount of silver the student uses. The materials fee will be paid cash or check to the instructor on the day of class.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Those who wish to take the class MUST sign up by Monday, May 12th.
