Event Description:
Northeast Basketmakers Guild:
Guild Tent Z; All Day
The mission of the Northeast Basketmakers Guild is to further the art of basketry by nurturing the development of new basketmakers, while celebrating and supporting accomplished basketmakers. Come see how baskets are made from different materials such as reed (wood), pine needles, ribbons and paper. We use many different weaving techniques to create a wide variety of baskets. Try your hand at adding on to a pine needle basket. Find out about our classes.
