Events > League Legacy Exhibition

Event Description:

As the country celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the League is about to launch preparations for its 100th anniversary in 2032. Join us for a first glimpse into the timeline of the League of NH Craftsmen with “Legacy of the League: A Timeline of Craft.”

With the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair used as the touchstone event to link the decades, enjoy the work and images of the League of the past through the present day. This exhibition uses photography from our archives and craft from our Permanent Collection Museum to bring history to life.

We will celebrate this exhibition, which will run through August 28th, with a free, public opening reception on June 11th from 5-7 PM in conjunction with the NH Furniture Masters Gallery, which opens their Annual Prison Outreach Program exhibition this same evening. We hope you will visit and take in both openings and enjoy the past and present of craft with us.

Thank you to Catherine Green for serving as our guest curator for the Legacy of the League exhibition, and thanks to the Permanent Collection Museum and Exhibition Gallery committee for their tireless work to preserve the collected works of League craftsmen through the decades, year after year.

After the opening reception, the exhibition will remain on view through August 28th. (Gallery closed July 27 – August 16 due to the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair).
