Saturday, 8/8: 10 AM: Much of League of NH Craftsmen’s rich history lies in the galleries. The seven galleries, found throughout the state, are a vital presence in the organization today. Although they have greatly evolved from the sales shack in Franconia Notch almost 100 years ago, their mission is the same. They showcase and market a wide variety of some of the finest crafts made in NH, and are an invaluable source of income for craftspeople. In today’s “episode”, we will be broadcasting live from the Littleton League of NH Craftsmen Gallery, and will present some of the history of the galleries and will do a tour of some of the media and work presented. A visit to a League gallery is like a carefully curated craft fair, with a variety of work artfully arranged and is guaranteed to inspire.
