Events > Daily Demonstrations at the Craftsmen’s Fair: Wednesday, August 6

Event Description:

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6:

Quilting Techniques with Northern Lights Quilt Guild: Tent D

Go on a design-your-own-quilt adventure in a hands-on exploration of the various decisions that go into creating a quilt. Plus,  learn about various piercing options and quilting techniques that bring a design to life.

Punch Needle with Grace Collette: Tent H

Like rug hooking, modern punch needle dates back to ancient Egypt and medieval Europe. Grace will be sharing the 19th century version of this craft. She has been creating designs, dying fibers, and teaching in New England for more than four decades. Today only, you can purchase her work at The Shop at the Fair.

Wood Turning with Don Lowe and  Bill Emerson: Tent R

In addition to being juried members, Don and Bill are members of the NH Woodworkers Guild and will demonstrate small-item wood turning, creating things like apples, eggs, Christmas trees, tea lights and more.  You can purchase their work in The Shop at the Fair.
