Event Description:
Meredith, NH – Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm for a Spoons in a Day Class with juried artist Joy Raskin.
Spoons are surprisingly easy and fun to make! In this class students will make a simple spoon using wire for the handle and a piece of sheet metal that they will dome to make a spoon bowl and then solder onto the wire handle. Hammer textures can be added to create a more unique handle. In a few hours, you can have your own custom-made spoon! Instructor will provide materials. Material cost will be between $10 and $50 depending on the amount and type of metal used.
Tuition is $75.00 per student. Materials fee is between $10-$50 depending on the materials used. The materials fee will be paid cash or check to the instructor on the day of class.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Those who wish to take the class MUST sign up by Monday, August 12th.
