Event Description:
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Center Sandwich Fine Craft Gallery on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday – August 4th, 5th, 6th, 2025 from 9:00am – 3:00pm for a Three-Day Mosaic Workshop with Cindy Stanton.
This three-day mosaic workshop is designed for those seeking to improve their mosaic skills. Building upon prior experience (the SHI Intro to Mosaics class or previous experience with mosaics), the workshop will provide guided studio time for students to work on their own designs. The first morning will include a quick review from the 1-day class, and then students may choose to practice cutting different materials or go directly to their projects. The next 2.5 days will consist of guided studio time working on a 6”x6” or 5”x7” interior mosaic. Students are asked to send a photo or drawing of their planned project to the instructor by Friday, August 1st, to assure design feasibility and the availability of appropriate materials. Materials will include: mosaic smalti glass, unglazed ceramic tile, stained glass, and vitreous glass tile. Students are welcome to bring their materials (ceramics, jewelry, etc.).
Tuition is $100.00 per student, plus a $50 materials fee to be paid to the instructor. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Registration form and full tuition payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the class to ensure your place. Failure to make full payment may result in the loss of your space in the class.
