Event Description:
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Center Sandwich Fine Craft Gallery on Thursdays, July 24th and 31st, 2025 from 10:00am – 12:00pm for a Textured Clay Slab Plates and Platters class with Suzanne Weil.
Students will learn to work with iron-rich clay, underglazes, and slips to create textured plates or platters. They will make clay plates, platters, and small bowls and use different materials to create textured effects in the clay. Their creations will be dipped or painted with glaze, and the instructor will dry and fire the finished work.
Tuition is $80.00 per student, plus a $25 materials fee to be paid to the instructor. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Registration form and full payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the class to ensure your place. Failure to make full payment may result in the loss of your space in the class.
