Event Description:
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Center Sandwich Fine Craft Gallery on Thursdays, August 14th and 21st, 2025 from 10:00am – 2:00pm for a Making and Printing Collagrapy Plates on an Etching Press Class with Paul Foote.
This hands-on workshop will teach you how to create collagraph plates for printing on an etching press using Akuna non-toxic water-soluble inks and ordinary and found materials. You will create prints from your plate using the Gallery’s etching press. You will also learn to use a professional artist etching press safely. The instructor will provide all the materials you need for this workshop.
After the class, you will create plates at home and return to the studio for a 2-hour printing session to help you deepen your new skills using the plates you made yourself. Workshop participants will also receive a printed instruction pamphlet, resource & material guide.
Tuition is $80.00 per student, plus a $50.00 materials fee to be paid to the instructor. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Registration form and full tuition payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the class to ensure your place. Failure to make full payment may result in the loss of your space in the class.
