Event Description:
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Center Sandwich Fine Craft Gallery on Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 from 9:00am – 1:00pm for a Beginning Rug Braiding Class with Donna Dunn.
A second session will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19 and 20,2025, for beginners or for students in the first session who would like to advance their skills to the next level.
Braided rugs were a staple in homes for years. Learn the fundamentals of creating beautiful wool rugs. This class will include instructions on rug braiding equipment and supplies. Participants will learn techniques to create a braided wool project from start to finish. Learn how to straight braid, increase to create curves, and lace and finish a simple round braided project.
Tuition is $90.00 per student, plus a $45 materials fee to be paid to the instructor. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Registration form and full tuition payment must be received at least 1 week prior to the class to ensure your place. Failure to make full payment may result in the loss of your space in the class.
