CELTIC ORIGINS a collection of Celtic inspired work by Jack Dokus is on display at the League of NH Craftsmen Meredith Fine Craft Gallery through the month of March.
Jack, a long time resident of the Lakes Region, is one of the only juried members of the League who works in the fine art of lost wax casting. His masterfully crafted jewelry pieces intricately weave together symbolism, mythology, and craftsmanship.
Drawing from a deep reverence for Celtic folklore Dokus’s work celebrates the essence of Celtic culture. From intricately designed Celtic knots to majestic motifs like the castles in Ireland his creations transcend mere adornments becoming wearable works of art.
