A thoughtful critique should leave you feeling supported, understood, and motivated to keep growing. The ability to give and receive feedback with finesse is not innate for most—it is a learned skill, one that strengthens both the craft and the community of makers.
This ½-day professional development workshop will help you sharpen your skills for giving and receiving feedback with grace; an important skill for everyone to hone.
The day begins with a demonstration of critique by Leah Woods, followed by facilitated breakout groups where you will practice what you’ve just learned. In addition to being a Juried Member of the League, Leah Woods is a UNH Professor and member of the Furniture Masters.
Whether you’re already serving as a juror, interested in becoming one, or simply looking to sharpen your critical eye, all juried members are welcome to join us for this workshop in the idyllic setting of Sanborn Mills Farm. However, space is very limited, so please do not wait to register!
