Cheryl Colletti-Lawson (2018-2021)

Cheryl Colletti-Lawson joined the League’s Board in 2018. Cheryl brings with her a wealth of experience in business and organizational development, with a clear adeptness in streamlining processes and maximizing resources.
Cheryl currently serves as COO and CFO of the Concord based company The Lawson Group.
Susan Woods (2019-2022)
Business Executive, Arts Advocate
Susan Woods joined the League’s Board in 2018. Susan has an extensive background, both in her employment history as well as her Board service, in strategic planning and development, and governance.
Susan currently serves as a Principal advisor with Chartworth, an investment banking and strategic consulting firm in Portsmouth, NH.
Valerie Jenkins (2021-2022)
Arts Advocate, Community Volunteer
Valerie Jenkins joined the League’s Board in 2021 to fulfill an unexpired term as Treasurer. Valerie brings a wealth of knowledge from years serving in finance and information technology positions, most recently as a Town Accountant, Internal Auditor and Finance Director in Groton, MA prior to her retirement.
Valerie uses her knowledge as a volunteer on numerous committees within the city of Peterborough, NH where she currently resides.
Jacob Marvelley (2016-2023)
Jakob Marvelley has held a seat on the League’s Board since 2016. Jake is a practicing attorney in corporate law and litigation with Hoefle, Phoenix, Gormley & Roberts, PLLC in Portsmouth, NH, representing individuals and businesses in employment, construction, contract, and land disputes.
Donna Zils Banfield, Esq. (2015-2021)

Donna Zils Banfield has served as Chair of the League’s Standards Committee and represented the committee on the Board of Trustees since 2015. Donna previously worked professionally as an attorney, but over the past twenty years has transitioned to a life as a full-time craftsman. Working in her studio in Derry NH, the wood Donna uses for her turned and carved pieces comes primarily from trees that have succumbed to disease, storm damage or urban development. She takes what would be the end of one life, and gives it a new one, a life less ordinary.
Kathleen Dillon (2020-2023)
Marketing Executive, Arts Advocate
Kathleen Dillon joined the League’s Board in 2020. Kathleen is a marketing consultant with a large media firm in New Hampshire. She is a creative thinker committed to assisting the League in pursuing new channels to spread the word about the organization and maximize its resources.
Kristin Kennedy (2017-2023)
Juried Member – Metal
Kristin Kennedy has served as an at-large Board member since 2017 and has been a juried member of the organization for more than twenty years. Kristin operates her own custom jewelry studio and retail gallery in Concord, NH, using high end metals and precious stones to accentuate the organic shapes she favors for her pieces. Kristin is passionate about the work of the League and committed to assisting in the growth of its membership and pursuit of its mission.
John MacLean (2019-2022)
Consultant, Arts Advocate
John MacLean joined the League’s Board in 2019. John recently retired as the City Manager in Keene, NH after twenty years of service to the city, and more than forty years in municipal service in various parts of the country. He brings extensive experience in all aspects of municipal and county government. John currently works as a consultant with Municipal Resources Inc in Portsmouth, NH.
Tom McGurrin (2018-2021)

Tom McGurrin joined the League’s Board as the representative of the Events Committee in 2019. Tom has been a juried member of the League for nearly thirty years and has been a professional craftsman with extensive national show experience for even longer. Tom’s jewelry is characterized by clean lines, spare forms, and distinctive textures.
Michelle Motuzas (2018-2021)
Artist, Arts Advocate
Michelle Motuzas has served as a member of the League’s Board since 2018. Having worked in the non-profit sector in event management, as well as the retail industry and as an artist, Michelle brings a varied background including volunteer coordination and community relations, as well as business development and sponsor recruitment.
Sarah D. Parrish (2021-2024)
Assistant Professor of Art History, Arts Advocate
Sarah Parrish joins the League’s Board in 2021. Sarah is an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator in Art History at Plymouth State University. Sarah has studied and written extensively on fiber arts and teaches modern and contemporary art history. She strives to empower students with close looking, visual analysis, and communication skills that can be deployed in a range of academic, professional, and social contexts.
Susan Ryan (2021-2024)

Susan Ryan joins the League’s Board in 2021. Susan is a charismatic executive leader with a strong record of success motivating and mentoring high-performing individuals and teams. Susan has deep experience in organizational planning, strategic growth and change. Susan has an extensive professional background in leadership positions across the healthcare, finance and non-profit sectors, most recently having served as President and CEO of Spaulding Academy & Family Services.
Kurt J. Sundstrom (2018-2021)
Curator, Arts advocate
Kurt Sundstrom has been a member of the League’s Board since 2018. Kurt is the Senior Curator at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH, focused on European paintings and sculpture and the works on paper collections. Through his work and education, Kurt is not only well versed in art and craft, but also in the administrative work of arts organizations, including volunteer coordination and the presentation of public education programs.
Amee Sweet-McNamara (2021-2024)
Juried Member- Fiber, Non-Metal Jewelry
Amee Sweet-McNamara joins the League’s Board in 2021. Amee is a professional jewelry designer, milliner and fiber artist with extensive teaching and writing experience and is a regular on the national craft show circuit. Amee joined the League as a juried member in 2010 and is a vocal supporter of the organization. Amee’s skills as a community-builder will be evident in her role on the Board of Trustees.
