All exhibition participants are required to provide ONE half-day volunteer shift at the Exhibition. A friend or family member can fulfill this time for you. Volunteer slots are first come, first serve and are limited daily to meet the needs of the Fair. We cannot guarantee that desired shifts will be available. You are welcome to sign up for more than one volunteer date, we appreciate the extra help! If you are unable to accommodate any remaining shifts, you can either pay the opt-out fee or contact Molly at [email protected] to arrange an alternate volunteer date.
ACD volunteers may be assigned to work at TSATF or elsewhere on the Fairgrounds as directed by the Volunteer Coordinator.
If you select an “OPEN Shift” at ACD you will be assigned to either AM or PM shifts as needed.
SET-UP SHIFTS: AM shifts are 9 AM – 12:30 PM; PM shifts are 12:30 – 4:00 PM
PREVIEW PARTY SHIFT: Friday, July 31st – shift is 4 – 7 PM
DURING THE FAIR: AM shifts are 10 AM – 1:30 PM; PM shifts are 1:30 – 5 PM
TAKE DOWN SHIFT: Sunday, August 9th – shift is 3 PM – Finish*
The Fair closes at 5 PM. There will be some guests collecting work that afternoon, and craftsmen picking up unsold work after the Fair closes.
*A meal will be provided for all take down shift volunteers*
HOW TO SELECT A SHIFT AND DATE:
- Use the dropdown menu below to select a shift option (AM, PM, OPEN, PREVIEW PARTY, or TAKE DOWN). Calendar will appear when a shift is selected.
- Click on the date you would like to volunteer.
- GREEN = AVAILABLE, turns GREY when selected
- RED = NOT AVAILABLE, date is booked for your selected shift option, please return to the drop-down menu to select a different shift option OR choose a different available date.
- Enter your contact information in the form below the calendar.
- Enter any comments or questions you may have in the form below your contact information.
- Click SEND to submit volunteer booking. You will see a confirmation message on the screen and a follow up email. If you don’t see the confirmations, your form did not submit.
